Another barbaric season of Duck Shooting has commenced in Victoria and already there have been so many lives lost with hunters not only slaughtering our precious wildlife but leaving a litter of shells behind as they do it.

Rescuers on the ground have reported numbers in the hundreds for endangered ducks being illegally killed alongside the ducks who are listed to be killed. If they are not killed instantly, many of these ducks suffer in agony as they die a slow and inhumane death.

Without proper enforcement or punishment, these crimes go unaccounted for.

We simply cannot afford to allow this "sport" to go ahead next year for another season.
